Twins struggle to score in 30 consecutive innings at CoolToday Park but remain optimistic for the future

Twins struggle to find footing in shutout loss during exhibition game

The Twins have been struggling to score runs at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida, where they have been shut out for 30 consecutive innings this spring. Despite good signs from pitcher Bailey Ober, who struck out six in 4⅓ innings, the Twins fell to the Braves 4-0, marking their fifth consecutive Grapefruit League loss.

Despite their poor performance at CoolToday Park, the Twins are optimistic about their chances going forward. They have never won a game at the five-year-old park and are 0-11-1 with 11 straight losses there. However, they have been outscored only 23 runs in those games and have been shut out just five times in North Port. In contrast, they have a 5-5 record against Atlanta in Fort Myers.

The regular season will bring a fresh start for the Twins as they take on the Braves in their final spring training game before heading to Kansas City for the season opener on Thursday. With valuable experience gained from the tough competition they faced during spring training, they are ready to face whatever challenges come their way.
