NFL Veteran Eddie Goldman set to Sign New Deal with Falcons after Retirement: A Fresh Start for the Talented Defensive Tackle.

Eddie Goldman set to make a comeback with the Falcons

Eddie Goldman, a defensive tackle, has been released from the Falcons’ reserve/left squad list. However, it appears that another transaction involving Goldman and the team is imminent. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Goldman is expected to sign a new deal with the Falcons.

Goldman initially signed with the Falcons in July 2022 but retired shortly after. He returned to the active roster last March but left once again in July without ever playing a game for them. However, his most recent on-field action was during the 2021 season with the Bears, where he appeared in 14 games and recorded 22 tackles and a half-sack. Despite his recent absence from the field, Goldman’s skill and potential are evident.

The upcoming new deal signifies a fresh start for Goldman with the team, and fans will be eager to see how he performs in the upcoming season. The Falcons seem keen on bringing him back into the fold due to his impressive resume throughout his career. He has amassed 175 tackles, 13 sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
