Update 1.44 for Gran Turismo 7 Introduces New Cars, World Circuit Events, and Additional Features

Gran Turismo 7, the highly anticipated racing simulation game developed by Sony, has received a major update. Patch 1.44 introduces three new cars to the game, including the iconic Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99, Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus ’16 and Lamborghini Urus ’18. Additionally, players at Collector Level 41 and above can now find the Jaguar menu in the Extra Menus section (Extra Menu No. 37).

The update also includes three new World Circuit Events: European Clubman Cup 600 at Blue Moon Bay Speedway – Infield A Reverse, Schwarzwald League at High Speed Ring Reverse and World Touring Car 900 at the 24 Heures du Mans race track. Players can now showcase their skills on these tracks and compete with other players online.

In addition to the new cars and events, patch 1.44 brings some exciting news for fans of Highspeed Étoile’. Stickers from the official TV animation series are now available for a limited time in the GT Auto / Livery Editor. There are a total of 26 stickers featuring title logos and main character designs from the show, which is set to premiere in Japan in April 2024. Fukushima has also been included as a featured Curation in Scapes for players to enjoy.

Gran Turismo 7 was launched in March 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5 and received a positive review from IGN with a score of 9/10. The game blends elements from the original Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo Sport while making some minor missteps. Series development chief Kazunori Yamauchi has praised the game’s active player base since its release, showing that there is still much to look forward to in this exciting racing simulation game.
