Bringing Awareness and Wellness to Monticello: The National Colo-Rectal Cancer Awareness Month Wellness Expo

Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

In honor of National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month, a wellness expo is being held in the Monticello area. The event, organized by the Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee, will feature more than 30 vendors.

Kimberly Allbritton, Administrator of Jefferson and Madison County, discusses the importance of bringing the expo to the area in a video. She highlights the significance of events like this one in raising awareness about colo-rectal health and providing valuable information to the community. The expo will also include free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations by Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

The wellness expo will take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, offering a variety of resources and vendors to promote wellness and healthy living.
