Breaking News: Belarus Imposes Ban on Ararat Brandy Factory Products after Harmful Dye Discovery

Ararat Cognac Factory products banned in Belarus

In light of the discovery of inconsistencies in the products from the “Ararat Brandy Factory,” Alexander Tarasenko, the chief state sanitary doctor of Belarus, has issued a ban on the import and sale of these products. The news was announced by the press service of the regional center of hygiene, epidemiology, and public health in Gomel, as reported by the Russian news agency TASS.

The import, storage, transportation, sale, and use of products from Belarus-based “Ararat Brandy Factory” LLC are now prohibited due to the detection of a harmful dye in the product. This prompted the need for the factory’s products to be removed from circulation and properly disposed of.

It is worth noting that “Ararat Brandy Factory” is known for producing wine and brandy products. This decision to ban these products serves as a cautionary measure to ensure public safety and health in Belarus. The decision to ban these products underscores the importance of strict quality control measures in the production and distribution of food and beverage items.
